Once the humidity breaks and the snowbirds start texting about their winter plans, you can feel the market change with it. Our real estate agents have been in and out of homes all month, and the story this fall is less "slowdown" and more "reset."

The Market Is Quieter, Not Weaker

Every fall, spring and summer's frantic pace eases off, and at first glance it can look like buyers just stopped caring. They didn't. They got pickier. The ones still out there touring homes right now are usually serious, and honestly, the same goes for sellers who decide to list during this window instead of sitting tight until spring.
