Sarasota's family Halloween celebration, known as Boo! At The Bay, returns on October 18, 2025, promising a wide variety of spooky and not-so-scary activities. From 6 pm to 8:45 pm, the event will include:
Costumes are encouraged, but not required, and free pumpkins are available while supplies last to the first 1,800 kids in attendance. Boo! At The Bay is held at The Bay Park along the Sarasota Bay waterfront, just minutes from many Sarasota homes for sale.
Taking place on Friday, October 24, from 6 to 9 pm, this year's BooFest on Main Street promises to be one of the best Halloween festivals of the season in Bradenton. The event is held annually at Lakewood Ranch, convenient to many beautiful Bradenton homes for sale, and it includes entertainment that kids and grown-ups alike will enjoy. Highlights include a Kids' Zone with activities like face painting and balloon animals, plus live music and plenty of food and drinks. Available on Multiple Dates from October 11 to 30, Discover Sarasota Tours offers unique, spooky tours of the Sarasota area aboard the BooMobile! It's a mobile Halloween party aboard a trolley car that takes guests on a whimsical pumpkin hunt and includes a look at many of Sarasota's most noteworthy landmarks. Every year, Bradenton's Hunsader Farms celebrates Halloween with its annual Pumpkin Festival, now in its 34th year. It's one of the biggest fall celebrations of the year in our neck of the woods, offering a dizzying array of activities and attractions spread over multiple weekends throughout October. The Pumpkin Festival at Hunsader Farms takes place on October 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26. Many attractions are included with the price of admission, and kids under the age of 5 can get in for free!
Extending through Halloween weekend, the 2025 Sarasota Fall Carnival takes place on October 31 through November 2 at the Mall at University Town Center. Now in its 4th year, the carnival will include a wide range of family-friendly rides, games, and attractions. Food trucks will be on-site offering fairground favorites like funnel cakes and fried Oreos, and unlimited ride wristbands are just $37.
