The airy, light-filled dining space at Project Coffee is just as appealing as the outdoor seating. Large windows, lots of greenery, and a modern industrial decor create a comfortable interior that's anchored by a dramatic U-bar. A full selection of coffee drinks is complemented by a food menu that includes their signature brioche cinnamon roll. Project Coffee is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Adobe Graffiti Lounge - 1302 13th Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205
On those occasions when you need a wind-me-down rather than a pick-me-up, head for Adobe Graffiti Lounge. This delightful botanical bar features drinks made with kava, a plant extract that promotes relaxation and stress relief. You can also get a cup of traditional joe as well as botanical teas, traditional teas, and non-alcoholic craft "cocktails." If you're feeling social, check out the lounge's packed calendar of events such as art markets, movie and game nights, and live music. Opened in 2023, Cedar Fox Coffee has quickly become a popular destination in downtown Sarasota. When owner Allen Johnson relocated from Minnesota, he brought his native Midwestern hospitality along to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in his new coffee shop. Pair your drink with one of their soups and salads, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, or delicious baked goods. Cedar Fox Coffee is open weekdays from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Orange Blossom Coffee - 1166 3rd Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205
It's only fitting that Bradenton should have a cafe called Orange Blossom Coffee. The shop is double-family-owned, headed up by mother-and-daughter Melissa and Kaitlyn Lilly and husband-and-wife Josh and Abbey Schmitt. The foursome's partnership started strong with Banyan Coffee, their coffee roasting and delivery service near Palmetto homes for sale, and progressed to their downtown brick-and-mortar location. Find a new favorite drink when you try one of their coffee flights. Hours are 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday.
Breaking Wave Coffee - 1310 Main St., Sarasota, FL 34236
Ready for a g'day, mate? Breaking Wave Coffee was inspired by the widespread coffee culture in Australia and New Zealand. The shop's name refers to the iconic, breathtaking waves that are every surfer's dream. One of the coffee drinks plus a serving of their avocado, ricotta, or breakfast crunch toast makes a perfect start to the day. Breaking Wave Coffee is open 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday.
Oscura Coffee & Cocktails - 816 Manatee Ave. E., Bradenton, FL 34208
By day, Bradenton's hottest performing arts venue assumes the alter ego of Oscura Coffee & Cocktails. The shop maintains its status as a top community gathering spot by offering locally roasted coffee and coffee-based drinks to go with a menu of light bites and baked goods made in-house. Hours are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Sunday.
