Foodies and wine aficionados can agree that one of the most anticipated annual events in Sarasota is the Forks & Corks Festival. Spanning an entire week from January 20 to 27, this festival brings together exceptional chefs and winemakers to host and participate in wine dinners, auctions, tastings, and master classes. It all culminates in the Grand Tasting on January 26, where dozens of local restaurants and hundreds of winemakers will offer a chance to savor their finest offerings at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art.

Sarasota has long been home to a thriving art scene. A tremendous variety of artwork by local, regional, and national artists will be on display at this year's Cherie at St. Armands Circle Art Festival. Hundreds of artists will set up booths inside St. Armands Circle, a roundabout surrounded by boutiques and restaurants. The event takes place from 10 am to 5 pm on January 25 and 26, and it's free to the general public.

There's always something fun and exciting waiting to be discovered at the Downtown Bradenton Public Market. This bustling open-air market in the heart of Bradenton's Old Main Street is a great place to explore on any given Saturday. Vendors offer everything from arts and crafts to local produce and handmade foods.
